I was really looking forward to the whole wedding dress process. From trying them on, to altering the dress so it fit just perfect. I found the perfect dress for me at Hartland Bridal, but that's where the fun stopped. The owner was very nice when I first bought the dress, and after she received my downpayment, that's where the respect and good customer service ended. I wanted to know when my dress came in, she claimed she called me and left a message. My dress was sitting in her store for a month before we finally touched base. Alterations that were promised in two weeks took two MONTHS. And they weren't even done that well. The bustle was done improperly and not in the current practices of more up-to-date seamstresses. I ended up paying $90 for alterations that I am going to get fixed by a different wonderful lady. Instead of Sue, the owner, staying on top of things, everytime I wanted to know the status of my dress between alterations, I had to initiate the conversation. This is even AFTER I told her I wanted ASAP when the dress was finished. My wedding is in 11 days and now I am scrambling to get the dress done right. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place. Especially if you want to have an enjoyable experience.
