Located in Hartington, Neb., Cedar-Knox Public Power District provides electrical service to rural, town, irrigation, industrial and resale customers. The organization serves Cedar county and parts of Knox, Pierce, Wayne as well as Dixon counties in northeast Nebraska. It offers an electricity safety program for fourth, fifth and sixth grade students in area schools and community organizations. Cedar-Knox Public Power District is a member of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) and Nebraska Rural Electric Association (NREA).
