Does not get any better than this company !! Came out to help me on Christmas Eve at 5:30 pm- we had no heat and Ugo came and figured out what was wrong, but we couldn’t get the parts- so Ugo was so kind and went to his shop and brought me back some heaters so we could still be at home for Christmas… I’ve never met a business owner who is so kind hearted and came to help us even as his dinner got cold. His tech came today and had it fixed in no time at all. The tech that came was very well mannered and polite. This is a company I will always call for help and a company that I 100000% highly recommend to everyone. Ugo started with his dad along time ago and he continues to keep the family business running honestly , his tech employees have been with him for over 20 years and I feel that speaks volumes about the way Ugo has kept his company running solid. This is a company that truly cares about people and their customers!! He even brought me a birthday gift along with the heaters and that was very thoughtful and very yummy panettone bread- so good!! Thank you Ugo!!!

Ugo and his team did a thorough job in a timely manor replacing my 35 year old gas furnace, hot water heater and air conditioning. Ugo was recommended by a friend of mine. I had total peace of mind with these folks on the job. Excellent work.

I'm changing my review from 1 star to 3 based on getting a call from Ugo to discuss our experience. Will leave out the details of the original review. Here's why I'm only giving 3 stars...

1) Took over a week to get a scheduled date to come out and see my issue. I called and left message. Then had to call back a week later. I was told they left a message, but I don't have a record on cell or home phone of a message. Could be me.
2) Ugo needed to find a replacement vent hood for my heater which was discontinued and couldn't find one. 2 weeks later he called me asking me to locate the part. I felt at the time that they were not interested in searching and were only interested in doing a bigger job (replacing the heating unit). I was also upset that it took 2 weeks to give me a heads up that they weren't going to find the part. His logic according to him is that he wanted to show me that the part wasn't available and he wasn't trying to upsell me a new heating system in addition to the water heater. I'll take his word for it now, but communication could have been clearer.
3) I thought they were pricey. Once I decided to replace the heater as I was out of time to try to find a replacement vent hood I got quotes all less than his. The reputable local vendor I went with did the job for -17% less. It was a different brand which accounted for a 6% difference, but the labor was -11% lower.

The water heater installation was done quick, but the communication and pricing were issues for me.

came right out to the house to check furnace within 1/2 hr. of my call. explained what needed to be done and completed job in a timely manner. offered advice for future service and maintenance. excellent customer service!

Left a voicemail and contacted them via email through their website. Never got a response for maintaining my furnace. I guess they can't be bothered unless the job is going to cost you a few thousand dollars. They don't care about the little jobs and building relationships.

Ugo, Jr. and his staff were very professional and courteous. They helped us out temporarily during an extremely busy time of year. When they came back to install the new system, they were neat, polite and couldn't have been nicer. We would wholeheartedly recommend them.

I was out of the state for business for several weeks while my family was back in CT for the winter. Of course, this was when my boiler stopped working. I called Ugo Degrazia after a friend referral. I can't say enough about my experience. They were VERY patient and understanding - explaining our options to me (remember, I'm not even in the state) while working with my wife in CT and accommodating her busy schedule. Ugo and his team provided us with everything we could have possibly hoped for - knowledge, patience, a good price, an excellent end product, but most of all...peace of mind my family was being very well taken care of. A sincere thanks to Ugo and his team. I look forward to working Ugo Digrazia Heating and Cooling again in the future!

My furnace died on a weekend they came with space heaters. They were there the next day to install the new furnace at a very fair price and worked until it was done the same day. I would recommend them to anyone. The price was far less then I had anticipated.

We had central air put in our 1957 ranch home by Ugo Degrazia Heating and Cooling. They were professional and respectful of our home., and careful to be as clean and neat as possible throughout the process. They did an excellent job. The building inspector from West Hartford commented how professionally the work was done. It was a pleasure from start to finish working with this company. We highly recommend them.

Ugo Digrazia Company switched ...

Ugo Digrazia Company switched my old furnace servicing 3 apartments in an old brick house to 3 much-more-efficient furnaces/boilers, one servicing each apartment. When CNG came to inspect, they said the Company did exemplary work. If I ever need them, I would use them any time.
