I had a great experience at Memorial Eye Institute for my Lasik procedure. Being in healthcare myself, I was very anxious about the whole process. Everyone was very kind and patient with me and took their time to ease my nerves. I have told many friends and co-workers about my experience and I highly recommend MEI.

The staff and business focuses on the individual primarily, so naturally the wait times may be lengthy. Dr. Chotiner is reassuring and knowledgeable in everything related to Laser eye surgery. The business practice goes above and beyond in taking care of their patients, before, during, and after a procedure or check up. This is a very friendly, professional, thorough and caring practice.

Dr. Chotiner provided a professional, yet relaxing environment from the consultation, to the procedure, through the follow-up. Valerie Cupp was the star personal relations coordinator. She guided me through the process every step of the way. From the initial virtual, to the in-person explanation of the procedure step-by-step, to the follow-up and check-in. Her kind and caring manner removed any anxieties I may have had. All staff personnel were kind, busy, and efficient. I have been waiting 6 years for this procedure, waiting a little longer while knowing I am in good hands was not difficult. Thank you to the doctors and staff for the positive experience! Will recommend.

Memorial Eye Institute is an absolute miracle. Valerie Cupp (Lasik Coordinator) was extremely helpful with setting up appointments and was there to help walk me through every step of the way through the Lasik eye surgery. Additionally, I had the BEST surgeon, Dr. Bennett Chotiner. He did a fantastic job. The surgery was fast and I was seeing with perfect vision the next day. The staff here is PHENOMENAL. I would never go anywhere else for any eye surgery. Memorial Eye Institute is the BEST place around. Very thankful I chose them, it it the best decision I have made.

I cannot say thank you enough. Valerie Cupp was amazing and made a scary procedure seem like a walk in the park. Dr. Chotiner is so wonderful! Dr. Chotiner and Valerie are the perfect team! I would recommend everyone to them as they are the absolute best. I wish I had gotten Lasik sooner!

The entire process and experience exceeded my expectations. From the staff members that I encountered, the extremely short wait times, the organization, to the procedure, I could not have asked for a better place to have Lasik done!!! I was very pleased with the results of Lasik! I was able to drive into my follow up appointment the next morning and was already seeing 20/20. Dr. Chotiner and Valerie were extremely thorough and explained all the steps/process in detail. I could not have asked for a better care team during an already nerve-racking time than the staff at Memorial Eye Institute. Thank you!

I was fed up trying to see through trifocals. Two days after my Lasik surgery, all I need occasionally are over-the-counter readers.

Memorial Eye Institute was the most professional, aring and efficient practice that I think I have been to. The staff was wonderful. Very kind and charismatic while also being very informative. The staff member, Valerie C, was especially friendly and kind. She made getting through my Lasik surgery alot less scary and comforted me the whole time. The practice deserves the highest praise I can give them and then some!

Staff was friendly and kind. Appointments were scheduled quickly, however wait time while there took longer than expected but was acceptable due to details for care.

My entire experience was excellent. I literally called Friday after googling for Lasik and was fit in Monday. Had surgery Wednesday! All the staff were kind and professional. Valerie (surgery coordinator) was especially friendly, welcoming, and a huge calming support during surgery. Without her I would have jumped off the table. I would recommend this practice to anyone considering Lasik. I would not change a thing (well maybe complete sedation, lol). Dr. Bennett was very kind and helpful in explaining what I experienced during the procedure afterwards. He was great!

The procedure hurt more than expected, but was also much faster than expected. It was well worth it for the results of great vision! The doctors and staff were great in coaching me through the surgery and making sure I was comfortable.

I have nothing negative to say. Everyone was nice and friendly. I like how you are not putting patients in the waiting rooms sitting around each other and are keeping us moving through the different areas with not as much wait time.

The pre-op appointment functioned like a well oiled machine. The Lasik procedure itself was not pleasant. However, the entire time, the staff was caring and supportive. Already can see better besides the anticipated haze. Looking forward to see the full results by tomorrow.

I received excellent service. Every question that I asked was answered promptly without hesitation, making me very positive. Everyone was trained for their role. I was not made to feel stupid for asking simple questions.

My overall experience was excellent. The staff was very efficient and knowledgeable. They provided all of the information that I needed to make an informed decision for myself and in preparation of having the actual procedure so I knew what to expect. The whole process met every expectation I had.

I had Lasik in both eyes and I was walked through each step so that as the patient I was comfortable and aware. From my first consultation, the moments during and after the surgery, everyone was wonderful. It is certainly the Institute I will be recommending to anyone considering Lasik surgery.

I felt they were extremely professional, courteous, and patient during this surgery and took the time to make me comfortable. They also gave me a get-well flower and I had my picture taken with the doctor. I would highly recommend.

Speechless! I had serious reservations about laser surgery and assumed it was unaffordable. I could not have been more uninformed. The surgery was painless and only took minutes, plus Memorial Eye offered an affordable payment plan. I could not be more satisfied!
