This church has become my home. Everyone always greets us with a smile and as hug. They are a very caring congregation. They offer two services on Sunday and activities on Wednesday.

A very friendly place with very caring people that make a person feel very welcome.

We have attended since September 2001 and have never considered attending any other church. HHUMC is a God-centered church that offers services (two services on Sunday’s) and service to both our members and the community. We are very involved with the Harker Heights Food Care Center, we make 40 big sack lunches every second Saturday of the month, we have had back-pack Sundays for our kids who need back to school supplies and so many other activities. You will feel the love when you enter the doors of our church.

I started coming here almost 15 years ago. Knowing I needed God back in my life, I learned how to I needed to change to get Him there while coming to this church. I also needed a local family, since I was transplant here to Central Texas like so many in the Military. I found it at Harker Heights UMC

God sent me to this church 4 years ago and WHAT A BLESSING it has been! My kids have grown so much since coming to Harker Heights UMC. We were really welcomed! Be careful though, they may put you to work serving Christ!

I was looking for information about a nice friendly Methodist church, and I found it at this website. The information was excellent and the pictures were great. It has everything I'm looking for. Thank you HHUMC.

I was immediately welcomed by a large fellow named Michael and was given a coffee mug filled with gifts and my children each a received a welcome gift bag. They had two services, the first is a traditional pray-Amen service with a wonderful children's time- where the kids are brought forward and a lesson given on their level; and the second service a clap your hand praise god and be loud service. I was looking for a church that would have something to engage my Kindergardener and answer her questions about god. They offer Sunday school between the two services for ALL ages, a nursury for the lil ones and preschool-adult classes. They have a free Wednesday night kids club that feeds the kids, a lesson and play. My daughter loves it and I love the mid week break. Some dress up and others came in jeans and a T-shirt. There is a true mix of society levels -some have even overcome addiction. The program was easy to follow and all words were projected on the wall as well as in the handout. They serve god and have a sense of humor as well. A well rounded church where I felt welcomed and that I could come as I am and not be judged.
