I purchased a new mid-ranged Century canopy on or around the 20th of November 2017 and after the 3rd attempt to receive my new canopy as of January 27, 2018.
I was informed by Dave that the Century Canopy would be finished in 2-3 weeks and I should have it for my birthday by the first week of December 2017. On or around the 20th of December 2017 I received a call stating the factory painted it the wrong color. Dave stated it was the factory’s fault for the wrong paint code and it would be place on a rush order.
On or around the 15th of January 2018 I received a call again from Dave stating the canopy came back but was scratched and wanted to know if I would take a discount or accept a top rack for free. I wanted a new canopy but was leveraged into settling for a rack I didn’t want.
It’s worth mentioning that Dave was never contrite during the process and wouldn’t allow me to have the number to the factory. On the week of January 22, 2018 I receive a call stating it was ready and made an appt. to have it installed on January 27, 2018 at 10:00am.
Due to more damage the canopy wasn’t installed and now I’m left to take more actions to get my canopy correct or would just want a refund and find a company who believes in great customer service and experience.

The new canopy for my new Toyota tundra is rubbing the paint off my tail gate.Dave at Canopy corner says that I should lok at my sales recipt to see that they are not responsible. He said that A.R.E canopies all rub all Toyota pickups and that there was nothing he could do about it.I asked him about a better tail gate protector and he said that nobody made them.I said" so, A.R.E Canopies make products that they know will damage a tale gate on any Toyota product" and he said yes.I went home and found three companies that sell these protectors.He lies as easily as he breathes.

Considerably over priced, I went in to get replacement locks for my shell. Nothing had a price on it but the guy on the phone was more than happy to tell me $50. Can’t even get to key to go in and out of one of them, have to use my key ring as a finger loop to get a grip on it.

First off, I was going on a trip and had never bought a canopy before, so I had no idea it can take 3-6 weeks to get your canopy in. It turned out these guys had one that fit my Tacoma like a glove, albeit a gray glove on my green truck, but it still looks pretty cool. I called, went in, and had it installed the same day. I drove all over the western states. It worked great. This was about a year ago. Recently I have had a couple leaks around the brakelight and my door was a little bent. It was a couple week after the warranty was up and I called. It seemed like they didn'y really want to take care of it but their better natures prevailed and I took it in. The re-set the thing, re-sealed the gasket, and puttied the brake light. No leaks now, and it's raining. A smaller canopy place with competitive prices and a competent staff. I'd go there again for sure.

This item looks great but it is terrible for short bed trucks. Hardly pulls out at all. This company refused to take it back even though I spent another $2300 on a canopy and I was a return customer that bought a $1700 canopy a few years back. There is no "no return policy" posted anywhere. Expect good service unless you have a problem or are unhappy with the product. Then you are on your own. The General Manager made me feel like it was my fault that his product did not work for me. He should have simply returned the product to the manufacturer. You can bet I'll be shopping somewhere else for my next product
