This location has deplorable customer service. The prices posted are not accurate. Items were listed as being on sale with the MVP sale prices clearly marked on each sale item. There was no other signage other than an "MVP" logo on the freezer. During my checkout with a very pleasant cashier, a curly haired staff woman approached to interrupt my transaction. A transaction that my cashier had no problem with. The curly haired staff woman said I could not purchase these items because I had to purchase at least $70 more in groceries in order to get the sale price. There are no signs anywhere stating such and I was only told that since there is a circular and it's stated in that, then I am wrong and the store is right. So I can either pay full price or they refuse to sell the items to me. Basically, you need to study before you buy anything at this location because the price you see posted may or may not be accurate. How cute is that? I notified the store manager who blew me off completely and I also wrote to corporate about the lack of proper signage and poor treatment I received from whoever that rude staff person was that made a pouty face and used a baby voice while stating "I'm sowwwy". Well, the service at this location is "pretty darn sowwwy". I work in this very shopping center at another business. I'm a loyal customer for the past 5yrs. This food lion location doesn't care about me, my money, or their image. I have my MVP card. The sign says 59cents a pound with the MVP card. That's it. I have my stupid card. The sale price is posted on each item. That is it. I fail to see the issue. That's OK. The Lauers on Edwin Raynor Blvd in Pasadena has Turkeys for 47cents a pound and you don't have to purchase any level of product first before they'll honor their sale. Eat it, Food Lion.

Good Store... Bad Store Mgr and Asst Store Mgr

It is unfotunate that Ms. Huma had such a bad experience trying to get her roses...

I am in this store regularly and know the persons involved. I actually remember this situation as it happened. First of all, Kim isn't a manager but is Mrs. Waring's assistant, 2nd the Manager (who wasn't even there at the time) was called (by Kim) and said DO NOT REDUCE price... Mrs. Waring was actually attempting to 1st explain what the mix up was, and then planned to give Ms. Huma the flowers for free. This became an impossibility after Kim called the Store manager, John (the bald man always out front smoking).



My experience with This location is actually the opposite. All you need to do, is call the store. If Mrs. Waring (Carol) isnt there, you may be waiting quite awhile for your call to be answered; and sometimes you get hanged up on after that.



The managers, especially John and Dave, are usually on smoke break. I've even gone to the store at various times to just sit in parking lot and observe. My conclusion is if John isn't outside, then he isn't at work.



Kim is usually walking through aisles ranting and throwing some sort of temper tantrum or another. We regualr customers know this all to well.



While I cannot give this store a top review or rating, there are some shining points.... if you have to go to deli, everyone there is pleasant and extremely polite.

Then there's Pat, Carol, Brandi, and Myra all of whom make shopping there a pleasure and give their customers a pleasant experience.



But it is very clear that the store manager and assistant store manager area is SEVERLY lacking in this store and is reflected throughout. I can only imagine the obivous turmoil that employees there deal with daily...



just a drive by will confirm which manager is there (on smoke break) bald black guy = John, heavy white guy = Dave. Dave is on smoke break abt 3 hours per day while John is on constant smoke break and employees actually have to leave the store to get his attention!!!

bad customer service ,bad manager behavior,

i went to this store today around about 5:15 pm.i wanted to buy flowers,they over charged me for dozen flowers.The sign says $ 9.99 ,they charged me 19.99.When i went to manager Mrs Waring she refused to accept that.She told me that this sign is for other roses.She tried to sell me HALF dozen Roses for this price.First of all both manager and asst manager walked away .Both of them were trying to push each other for price correction,but Asst mgr Kim told her to do it and Mrs waring refused to do it .Your manager is cheater and you guys cheated me for 10 dollars and her behavior was nasty.She was very rude to me and was not ready to deal with me nicely.

you guys are cheaters.......................if someone didnt callme i am going to take it to higher level.it is not matter of 10 dollars ,it is the matter of honor and respect.I dont think so that your manager knows the spelling of that.i have a pic of that sign too.call me
