Absolutely the best mechanics I've ever worked with. Extremely honest, talented people. After taking my VW to TWO dealerships (Fresno and Clovis) who could not solve the problem, but were happy to take my money, I called these guys. I'm new to the area so I was a little apprehensive at first.



Bob at the desk was able to tell me the likely problem over the phone - something that the dealers couldn't even do after charging me diagnostics fees and seeing the car themselves. He did his research, replaced some parts, cleaned out some carbon, and my car ran smoothly. I had my car back and running perfectly in a week for less than HALF of the estimates I was provided by the dealerships.



Now a year later I'm bringing my car back there for a different problem. Just for fun, I called both dealerships to see if they could give me an estimate on repairs. They both provided me estimates well over $900, but J &T is fixing it for about half of that cost. I love these guys. Would recommend them to anyone.

This is a hit or miss operation. One time great. The next terrible. Really need to get rid desk/appointment guy. Tries to act like he's a mechanic when he's just a paper pusher. Extremely rude most of the time, except when he's collecting the bucks.

NEVER NEVER AGAIN will i ever go there. i went there to have a oil pressure switch replaced and the replaced it but they had to move the vacuum advance to reach it and did not put the vacuum advance back on right so now timing is off and will barley start sometimes not at all. worst $40 i ever spent. i took it back and they just said we wouldn't have taken off the distributor i said im not talking about the distributor im talking about the vacuum advance and they didn't want to talk about the vacuum advance i can see with my own eyes the vacuum advance is no longer in the right place. now i shall take my bmw to a better mechanic and the n i will sue j and t imports
