Kosciuszko Middle School houses more than 750 students in grades six through eight. The school features a media center, gymnasium, and art, computer and science laboratories, as well as an auditorium that has a seating capacity of over 250 students. It provides classes in mathematics, science, language arts, social studies and reading. The school also maintains a student council, band and LEGO robotics club. Kosciuszko Middle School offers a range of sports activities, including basketball, football, cheerleading and volleyball. Located in Hamtramck, Mich., the school is a part of Hamtramck Public Schools, which also operates elementary and high schools. Hamtramck Public Schools additionally maintains a community center that provides leisure, recreational and sports activities for children, adults, senior citizens and people with disabilities.
