They took 3 weeks to repair my push mower .After i got it back it ran for five minutes and stopped.This was the same problem i was having before.They sold me a new carburetor.Come to find out the gas cap was bad.

Do not use Rogers Small Engine Repair off of Mercury Blvd Hampton VA. I took Roger a Stihl chain saw today around 11 am. I told him that I had had it running and simply wanted the high/low fuel and idle adjusted. He then progressed to tell me that I may need my carburetor rebuilt. I told him that I had cleaned it and it was fine and really all I wanted done was what I had said. I then asked when he would be able to get around to it. He said I should have a call within the next 2 days. I left his shop and returned home. Within 2 hours I got a call saying that my chainsaw was beyond repair and had 40 psi compression. He tells me that it is supposed to have 150 psi and he has never been able to start one on less than 90 psi. I say to him that is bizarre and say that it was running 30 minutes before I brought it to you. I claim my property and leave the shop. Within 30 maybe 40 minutes of



leaving I return to his shop and walk through the door with a revving running and idling chainsaw that he claims that he a technician with 40 years experience could not start himself. After I ask him what exactly is wrong with the saw he still insists that it is my compression! I say show me and he refuses and hands me back my money saying I Don't have time for this... You tell me what happened there? Forget him. I got my money back and now you know

I have a sears riding lawnmower and after several failed attempts to get the serviceman at sears to come out (cancelled 1/2 hr before appt 1st time and the second time confirmed appt in the am and then never showed up) I spoke with a sears manager who told me I could take it to the Sears Service Center. Not a good idea...the Service Center does not work on riding lawnmowers! I found that out after borrowing a trailer and taking it in (don't listen to the manager)! Then I found Roger at Roger's Small Engine on Mercury Blvd in Hampton VA...he is the nicest person in the world and an excellent mechanic. I unfortunately had to order a new transmission for my riding mower but the labor I thought was very reasonable. His wife who works in the office was also very helpful and informative. It has been a long time since I have found a mechanic I can trust...I highly recommend this business!
