Luv matinee prices and their Stub rewards

Ive been going to amc 24 for years, their prices can be steep; however, its a great experience when you go. Their mon-thu prices are great, if you don't want to pay 10+ don't go to the movies. If you don't have a job and can't afford $5 mon-thu per person then you probably shouldn't be going anyway, go to redbox! Its cheaper. Downside, you have to wait till the hits are on dvd. The staff is friendly, and the manager that helped me tonight was wonderful! Amc gets 4 stars, minus one for prices, but they get another star for staff. I do agree with food prices being overpriced, but hey dont buy their food! Eat before, or bring something in... Plus stubs card gets you free upgrades on popcorn and drinks! For me, amc every time!! -ak

It's bigger, for one, and two they have $5 showings from Mon-Thursday all day long. Unlike the Regal who charges $7.50 for matinee. The theaters are bigger than the Regal and it's not flooded with senior citizens, it's very diverse when it comes to everything. There's more food choices, even though it's extremely expensive like every movie theatre. They give you back rewards for going to movies. I've had my share of free movie tickets over the past year with their old program. The new program sucks because it cost $12 to join it when the old one was free. Either way, It's Better Than The Regal.

Expensive, you bet...but the best tasting popcorn in town.

There are 6.5 million people who have lost their jobs since January, these people are in rough times but still have the need for entertainment. Your earily $5 shows are great, $4 would be better. Example: your very first movie goes on sell for $4.00 (like 11am)----the very NEXT showing goes to $5.00 for all movies on that day. Now lets talk about your FOOD PRICES, they are TERRIBLE. I have personally gone to theatres further away from AMC Hampton 24 because their prices on popcorn, drinks & candies are less and the sizes (on popcorn) larger. You were a great disappointment when you went up on the popcorn price and down on the popcorn container size. I could understand the raise in price but to double the insult by useing smaller containers stopped me from going to Hampton 24 for over 6 months (I went to other theatres. But you are closer and the price of gas (last year) forced me back to Hampton 24. Now the price of gas is back down, you get 1 out of 3 theatre visits. THINK: people out of work; seniors on fixed income; large families. Just for the record my rating is based on ticket & food (which are TERRIBLE) prices ONLY. I personally think your employees are some of the best in the business and have ALWAYS been polite and helpful. I am one of the out of work, fixed income, senior visitors to the Hampton 24 and what I observe on the theatre goers there doing my visits are of the SAME status. THINK ABOUT IT, GIVE IT A TRY AND GIVE US A BREAK. Thanks bob

With what they charge for popcorn and a drink, their concession employees should be better trained. You get better service at McDonalds....at least they "act" appreciative of your business. I have been coming to this theater for years. The employees behind the counter lack expression, emotions, and act robotic when taking your order. They should train their staff at at least smile at the patrons and be courteous. They don't even suggestive sell.

I know right? That bugs me when popular business like amc 24 give out numbers and never answer the darn phone!!!!!! {The theater it self isn't bad, but they need to up grade with there telephone people, you know}
