Wallace Tree Service of Hampden, MA is very unprofessional and I would not recommend them to anyone.
My neighbor hired them to remove a tree. However, the tree was on my property and just had branches over their yard. My neighbor told the company she had our consent to remove the tree, though she never asked for it.
When I saw the tree guys in my back yard I went and asked them what they were doing and they said "your mom already gave consent." I told them she hadn't mentioned it to me so I was going to call and check with her. When I called she told me that no one asked if they could remove our trees. When I approached the men again to discuss it with them, the older guy (boss?) started yelling at me and ranting and raving. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!
I tried to tell him to just remove the branches that hung over the neighbors yard, that way everyone would be happy but he didn't want to hear it. He just kept yelling at me. It is not my fault that my neighbors lied to him that they had our consent. He should be upset with them, not me. It is illegal in Massachusetts to cut down someone else's trees, especially mature trees and you can be fined or worse.
Long story short, the man from Wallace Tree Service was so rude and mean and irrational that I am surprised they have any business at all. So unprofessional. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY EVER!

reliable , careful and affordable, Wallace Tree pays close attention to care of our property. Polite and completes the work on time . he came on the date we had scheduled. cleaned up thoroughly without a trace of him being in the yard. very pleased with the service and would recommend him to friends needing any tree work whether removals or just trimming and maintenance . he has also been in the tree business for over 40 years
