Been around pawning most of my life and as with any bill you must responsible for your own payment. Nothing but good things from this place.

In response to Johnny.maldonado.395's and Kathle S. posts:

By LAW we are required, and do send notices 30 days before your pawn expires which we have proof of mailing which is also a requirement of the law. If you paid the interest you at LEAST had another 60 days before you would have lost your item. There is absolutely nothing shady about the way we do business!

@Kathle S.

There is a level of privacy that most people appreciate when we send notices. We are required by Ohio law to send a 30 day notice for any loans that are due to expire. If you are having trouble with a family member taking your things then you have a legal or domestic issue.

And for anyone else having issues like this there are two points I would like to make. First is that every transaction we do is reported to the police (LEADS ONLINE) on a daily basis. Secondly, IF you've had something stolen, the proper procedure is to contact the police. Let them know that you believe your son/daughter/family member has taken your items and you believe they are at our pawn shop. The police will make contact with us and we will place the items on a 30 day hold. In which time you can pursue legal action to redeem your items and recoup any moneys required to do so.

This is not the 1930's. We are not shady in any way. We would love to have you in for a visit to see for yourself! :)

It is so shady when you won't put what the item is on the notice you send out. You only put a number on it. This way family members won't know what was stolen from them. The kind of business you run should be illegal.
