My daughter has taken lessons everywhere and still struggled to learn to swim. After a few lessons at the Martha Burns swim school, she's holding her breath correctly, has the ability to swim across the pool in an overhead crawl and can get out of the pool if there's a safety issue. We are THRILLED and so grateful for her wonderful team who go above and beyond to make each child comfortable and provide the most valuable swim lessons in the state of MN and probably, across the country. Worth every penny!!!

Overpriced lessons! Life Time Fitness offers $10/ lesson versus Martha Burn's $40/ lesson. Private lessons here are $500/ session. Wow....Other places offer private lessons at a rate of $120/ session.Instruction is just as good if not better elsewhere.Lesson environment is disjunct and lacks unity with 5 kids in 1 class, most often each kid is a different age and skill level. It's like a juggling act. Missed a lesson? Well, good luck rescheduling. Management infrequently returns calls and lacks people-skills. Communicating efficiently via email is different than respectfully communicating face-to-face. Above all, the Burn's show very little follow through whether it be communicating with their employees or costumers. OVERALL:You do not get what you pay for. With a small business charging such extreme rates, one is to think that they are struggling financially. There are better alternatives to the Martha Burns Swimming School.
