They do not stand behind their work. We were told that absolutely, without a doubt, the $450 gate arm we purchased from them would hold. This was after I reiterated several times that the wind blow so hard here it causes a tunnel effect and has destroyed several "commercial" grade arms before this. They were adamant that theirs would hold up and that we didn't need a mag lock to go with it. But they really wanted to sell us a new gate (which would have been $750 and a touch heavier than the one we already have).



Fast forward several weeks. In came the winds and the gate would not stay closed. Our dog kept getting out. We called the company and they came and tightened the gate. They then tried to sell us a new gate. We didn't want a new gate. We wanted the mag lock. Again, we were told the mag lock wouldn't work because the game was bowing. The gate was bowing and they wanted to sell us a HEAVIER gate. From looking closely at the gate, the gate was not bowing, it was just having difficulties pushing the gate shut. A mag lock is exactly what was needed and this was verified by several other companies that we called to ask about this.

Fast forward another week. The gate was opening again. They refused to come out and adjust it even though it was under warranty - their warranty. We then bought a mag lock from them and then waited 1 FULL MONTH to the day before they came out to install it! We were supposed to have it within the week. Oh, and my favorite part of this whole thing is that my phone calls went unanswered to them and then the owner tried to tell me that I had never called. I called weekly, sometimes more, for a month. Customer service is definitely lacking! Finally my husband called and raised heck with them regarding the delay. They were out the next day to install it. I'm also forgetting the part of when the gate arm broke completely off (while we waited for that mag lock to come in) and the gate smashed into the front of my car!! This has been quite an expensive endeavor for us.

The owner has tried to blame this on everyone but who it should fall on. First it was our fault for not purchasing a new gate, then the manufacture for not getting the part to him, then his office staff for not passing on messages.

We just wanted what we paid for. And at this point we are so upset that we are stuck with this company for warranty work. It will be worth it to us to start over from scratch with another company, thereby losing this "warranty".

They blame the customer for their shoddy work (some how it's our fault that they didn't listen when we said that the gate kept blowing open due to tunnel winds) and then take over a month to install something that they claim will be put in within the week. Stay far away!
