Why can’t I give negative review...this company is a total scam...read the RipOff Reviews...our story is the same crap...only they tried to get $7000 from us or would throw our goods on our driveway. We had to have 5 sheriff deputies on scene to make them unload back into our garage...each situation is the same...they say they will send 3 men...2 show up...they are slow...to add up the hours and don’t know how to wrap delicate items...then when they have all your goods...they try to extort more money from you...

We should have known when PrimeTime Movers required cash or money order and all up front before they would start our move that we were not dealing with a reputable moving company. Our move was supposed to include 3 movers, but there were really only two as the third one, "Eddie" or at least that's what he said is name was, but refused to provide his last name, even though he had our full names, and the only one that spoke English (all were Russian) was the one in charge and did minimal work, so in essence, had 2 movers. The contract read that each additional hour beyond the initial 5 hours that had to be paid upfront (even though they insisted it was not a flat rate contract) would be charged at $95 per hour for each additional hour; however, Eddie insisted we had to pay 2 additional hours to complete our move, otherwise they would just leave since they were not required to go beyond the initial 5 hours. After working about one hour unloading the last of our stuff in the garage, they took off without finishing the job plus kept some of our stuff! And of course when we tried to reach "George" our moving coordinator, he would not return our calls or emails. We readily admit that some of our issues were due to the fact that we did not read the fine print. This review is about our experience; feeling like we were being held hostage and the intimidation tactics used and why we will not use this company again and will tell our friends and family to steer clear of PrimeTime Movers.

This company packed my belongings to move me to orlando. I paid them $715 plus $50 tip for their lunch in cash. They never arrived and are now holding my belongings ransom for $9000 cash, their reason? the cost of bubble wrap (obviously made from diamonds who knew?). They have been calling me offering discounts to $7000 and threatening to charge me storage fees and change of delivery fees as well as threatening to sell my stuff in 2 weeks. They say that I signed for the 9k, which i didn't unless they forged my name.
I have a copy of what I signed that shows the original amount I agreed to pay and paid exactly that. I have called the sheriff's office and have now retained a lawyer to take this to court and will be calling the press on monday. They will keep doing this as most people can't hire a lawyer or invest what it takes to fight them. Stay away from this mover unless you enjoy being extorted.

Horrible experience, took advantage of the elderly..In short they showed up the day of the move, collected the money that was originally provided in a detailed quote, then proceeded to triple the cost for the move and refused to give back the money when it was decided that the new price was too much money to move just one room of furniture . They did this to a single 71 old lady by herself and pretty much told her to pay more or lose the money as they claimed it was a non refundable deposit. We are out of state so my wife called their support line which seemed to be just as bad. The guy was not very professional and very disingenuous with what he said was written in the signed contract, reading over only the parts he thought would justify them taking the money from the old lady and omitting all of the guarantees and 30% deposits language and the itemized rate charges that would counter their new price for the move. I did not get a chance to review the provided quote until this ordeal was over but it turns out, there was no signed contract and if they added up the additions (there was only a small tv and stairs that was not on the original estimate) the rate for those additions that was on the quote would have been far less than what they advised the new price to move the furniture was. In addition, their position to take the money that was originally given to them and claim it as a non refundable deposit was also not in lines with the 30% deposit terms on the quote. I’m out of state and got involved too late in this ordeal, my wife had to wire them the money so her Mom did not go without a bed that night and figured we would just file this incident with the better business bureau.. Shame on this company.. they ended up leaving all the boxes outside, did not put up the bed and left without telling my mom they were leaving, while keeping the storage key. A company that took advantage of the elderly women was our experience, be careful.

The worst movers in town. They are ripping off people. I will not recommend them at all. They add extra charges with the bill. Also damaged my properties.
