Excellent facility! The entire staff is helpful and knowledgeable.. First rate service. They provided me with a loaner for free to use while my car was being serviced. I will be back!

I was charged for a part that was never put on my car. I had made an appointment at Hale Park Automotive for an -estimate- to repair a heat shield which had become detached under my car. They went ahead and worked on my car without asking. The charge was very low, but I am currently unemployed, which is why I told them I only wanted an -estimate-, but I was happy to not have to worry about the heat shield anymore. That is until I got curious about exactly what a "heat shield clamp" looks like. I crawl under my car to view the work, but I saw nothing that looked like clamp of any sort, but I instead saw what looked to be two new self-tapping sheet metal screws securing the shield into part of the under carriage. I thought perhaps I was just looking in the wrong place for the "clamp" so I took it elsewhere to verify the work was done as paid for. The dealership I took it to for a second opinion agreed with my assessment that no "clamp" was used, but screws were, just as I thought. I got that in writing and went back to HPA and asked them to lift my car to show me exactly where the "clamp" was. They agreed to do so, and "discovered" there was no clamp installed. I was asked if I was after a refund, I said "yes", and I received a cash refund for the "clamp" but not the labor. (They did do labor on my car that resolved my heat shield issue, even though they lied about what they did, so I am not upset about no refund on the labor.) What I did not receive was an explanation of what happened or an apology. It was my first and last time getting service from HPA.

Thirteen years ago we were able to move from Milwaukee to Muskego. Initially we continued to drive our two vehicles back to our original independent mechanic. We had long given up on dealerships after numerous bad experiences. My wife asked her coworkers, if they were aware of any local auto mechanic shop that you could trust. Integrity and honesty were the character traits that we were looking for. We were referred to Hale Park Automotive in Hales Corners 13 years ago and would never think of going anywhere else! Our family has grown quite a bit and we currently have four vehicles that are maintained and serviced by them. When Paul or Jeff makes a recommendation, I don’t have to wonder if the work really needs to be done. I feel that they are the best mechanics I’ve ever dealt with and as a result I have peace of mind. Our married daughter and her husband now take their vehicles to Hale Park as well. I would recommend their services to anyone.

All service/repair shops do and will make mistakes.....it's how they correct their mistake that satisifies the customer that ultimatley will matter. THIS PLACE JUST DOESN"T CARE ONCE YOU"vE PAYED THE BILL. Move on, there are alot of good shops out there........this isn't one of them!!!

I've been going to Hale Park Automotive for over 20 years, and I have never had any problems. The staff is professional, and very helpful. My last two vehicles were purchased from Hale Park, and I've never had any problems. The first vehicle I purchased for a steal, and got 239K miles out of it until I traded it in for a newer model. Any work or repairs that need to be done are done in a timely manner, and the price is always fair. The staff even works with my crazy schedule. I live in Burlington, so it's a bit of a drive, but I wouldn't dream of taking my vehicle anywhere else.

There are alot of great, honest, customer friendly places in our area.....this would NOT be one of them.
