I like this place. I just don't go between 3:30 & 7:00

The staff has always been nice and helpful. I have 4 of my family members signed up and never had anything overcharged to us. My husband and son pay $10 my daughter and I pay 19.99. Can't beat the price for the family.

Thinking Gold? Think not! ...

Thinking Gold? Think not!

Pro's:

-New gym with new equipment,

-Low cost

-Open 24/7

Con's:

-Restrooms that smell awful, body hair and blood on toilets

-Staff is not engaged with customers, often times you will see a group of the "trainers" gathering around each other talking about how many members they signed up for

-Staff does not smile or greet customers

-Friends of staff gather behind the front desk at late night hours

-Trainers are mediocre, talk horribly about customers and genuinely do not care....especially Matt Prawat who lied and stood me up with training

-CROWDS.....just drive by this place anywhere between 3pm-8pm...you can't even park.

Would I recommend this place? No, save your money, buy a good pair of tennis shoes and enjoy out door exercises - or find a better gym.

Golds Gym is always packed, the people who do the registration lie. And if you have children, DO NOT BRING THEM. There daycare is so unorganized, anyone could take your child. There were about 30 kids in the daycare and 3 people working in there. I went to check on my children and the girls are just looking about my toddler screaming. No one went to comfort him or see what was wrong. I immediately grabbed my children and left. Turns out he got a black eye somehow, but of course no one sees anything. Not worth the time or money, and speaking of money I have not seen my refund yet. They are quick to take your money but not return it.

Out of all the gyms in the area I would rate this place the lowest. I will start with the locker rooms. Every morning by 7A.M the locker room is a mess especially by the shower and toilet area. The steam room is nasty and always out of order. The lockers and the locker room area are very small compared to the WAC and YMCA. The gym is over crowed which Is why I began going at 5 in the morning. When I signed up for the $10/ per month special it was suppose to end in December it is currently February and the assembly line process for the gym is still going on. The weight clips are garbage I can remove all of them off of the bars without even squeezing the clips. Golds Gyms latest move is they decided to remove all of the matts in the ab workout section due to germs. So now they want you to bring your own even thought the lockers are so small you can not fit a gym bag in matt in a locker. Let just say I would not refer anyone of my friends to this gym and I am glad I decided to pay a little more and keep my YMCA membership.

I have been a member of this gym for about a month now and I enjoy it. Usually, I try to come before 430pm or after 8pm because these the more popular evening hours.

When I joined, there was a one-time processing fee to start the membership. I payed $59 to start. Then, each month I pay 19.99 to have access to tanning, classes (yoga is my favorite!) Other than that, all I have to pay is a $29 per year. They say this goes towards maintenance/updating the facility, but whatever, it still beats what I paid at my old gym. :)

So far, it feels like the right place for me. The staff seems to be available when you need them and the club seems to be fairly clean whenever I visit. I would recommend this gym to my friends. Thanks

I'm not sure what other people are talking about. There is a ton of equipment and plenty of cardio. There is no additional fees for using the pool its included in my basic membership. I would suggest this club to anyone. Very friendly and helpful staff.Great all around club!

They told me $10/month for life...but didnt tell me about all the maintenance fees they tack on each month...like a $25 monthly pool maintenance fee..I dont even use the pool. Sooo crowded, especially in evening.. I havent been able to get on a treadmill for 4 days when I wanted too. I noticed the place is already getting dirty. Im going back to Snap!

I joined, and I am quitting as soon as I can.

The place is a stinky, packed with people, and not a good place to work out.

The billing people are idiots.

Maybe I just don't like these huge "gym's" with a zillion people, and I am overwhelmed by it - I don't know, it just wasn't the place for me.
