The best escape room in New Jersey! I came here with my family and they accommodated everyone from my 5 year old son to his great grandfather who is 85 and need a chair half way through the game, although at the start he refused one when they offered one. The game was super fun and very interactive as the game master in our game wasn't typing but actually had a part in the escape room which made it so much more fun. After our escape room we had a dinning area and the food was very good and I am a picky eater when it comes to my Italian food...the penne Vodka was excellent not to heavy and thick but not to runny. The chicken parm wasn't dry and over perfectly cooked spaghetti..after dinner we moved to the Hatchet House which was not only fun but surprisingly easy. Once you got the hang of it, which I can proudly say I did rather quickly, it was a blast.
The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time and even sang happy birthday to grandpa!

Amazing! This place is the future of Escape Rooms. We have been to about 7 escapes between NY & NJ and this was by far the best.
1. They accommodate my group of 14 people in the same room, no other escape room would do that, even when I said I will pay full price and I understand not everyone will be involved. At ERNJ everyone was allowed in they gave me a discount code when I was ready to pay full price and all of us had something to do. We were working like little elves the entire hour trying to escape.
2. They communicate through text so I had a complete record of everything I was told and agreed to but more importantly anytime I had a questions I would text them and they ANSWERED! Seriously it was like having my own escape room concierge.
3. They had a clean bathroom, seriously if you go to ewcape rooms you know that nature calls before you play and there is nothing worse then a gross bathroom.
Definitely check this place out if you are looking for a really fun Escape Room!

Our group had a wonderful time here. All 10 of us played the SWAT game and we almost got out. The game master was wonderful and they had a party room for us to eat in afterwards. They also showed us the Axe throwing room and well as their Virtual Reality and Anger Rooms. There is so much to do there it is like an adult playland.

Tony was the man. He did a great job today helping our group enjoy the experience. This is my third time and each time it just gets better.

We had a total blast here! The place was so cool. They had music and strobe lights along with giant inflatable balls that were so big we could climb right in, get strapped up and proceed to try and knock each other over like a human version of bowling, where everyone is the bowling ball and the pin all at once. Total rush and tons of fun!

If you think about it there really isn't much in the area that you can do that is fun for everyone and not going to break the bank. We were organizing a family reunion as my grandparents (God rest their souls) were getting up in age and we wanted to do something different yet fun for ages 10-85 years old. My brother said he heard about this place from his friends on the Police force. I checked out their website and it said to text them, which I thought was very convenient. I texted at about 12:30am, yes the morning and they texted back within 2 minutes. Score 1 for ERNJ!

We chatted by text and they were super nice ver responsive and helpful. We booked a private room for up to 16 guests in the OtherSide. This place has other fun things to do, however not so much for the folks over 60. Escape the Room was a huge hit and even grandpa loved it. It's a week later and the family is still talking about how much fun they had.

A friend of mine recommended that we come to Escape Room NJ after he brought his office and they had a great time.



We got a private room with analysis. Jeffrey was our Game Master and he made the event exceptional.



My team thoroughly enjoyed the Escape and I enjoyed watching as they struggled for an hour through all the various challenges, riddles and puzzles.



At the end all the team members left feeling upbeat, happy and like winners (although they didn't escape). We proceeded to review the entire escape over dinner.



About a week later I received an email with a complete analysis, more detailed and in depth than was reviewed with the group. I was very pleased, it was complete and even included a picture of each team member.



I highly recommend this Escape Room and their analysis for any team building event. Thank you to Jeffrey and the team. We can't wait for the new room it sound amazing!

The Best Party Ever!

My girlfriends and I wanted to check this place out after my boyfriend came home raving about it. He went with his company for a team building event and he couldn't stop talking about it (it was a little annoying actually).

So when someone specials' birthday came around we booked a private room, human bumper balls and dance club. There were 14 girls and we were ready to have a really good time!

They locked us in the horror room! I wasn't sure if I was going to cry or laugh hysterically, I was so excited. We spent an hour (that felt like 15 minutes) working on all sorts of crazy stuff like riddles, puzzles, searched for clues, used a Ouiji Board (seriously, its freaking awesome), made things disappear, sorry if I am being cryptic but you wouldn't want me to ruin it for you ;)

Next stop Human Bumper Balls. Who knew being strapped in giant balls as fun!

Finally it is was time to dance....out came the drinks and yes it was BYOB!

Simply the best Birthday Party ever!

Fun for the whole family. Image being in a video game or a tv show. You are all working together to figure out a way out. Searching for clues, figuring out was to solve challenges and riddles. It is such a good time. Everyone I went with loved it and we couldn't stop talking about all the fun stuff and thought that went into putting it together.

Very upsetting atmosphere, I drove in circles for 10 min trying to find parking which ended up being about five blocks away. Then arrived at a set of locked doors with a small book listing different numbers for me to call to be let in which no one had any plans on answering. After another 10 minutes of different answer machines telling me how fun my experience would be I pulled on the lovely locked door trying to rip them from the hinges. At that point a cleaning lady informed me she could not let me in and went to get someone else. When the worker Michael finally came and opened the door yet another 3-5 min later he informed me he could not let me in any longer because I was 4 minutes late....I explain the whole ordeal and asked him if he could just reschedule for another day he said no he already redeemed my voucher and I was basically beat. I've been to about ten excape rooms and this ones service and workers are by far the worst. On the other hand I would suggest the excape room by the motor vehicles in Wayne. The owners are super nice and the rooms are amazing...just surprised that someone could send away a 15 year old boy that was looking forward to this for a week over 4 minutes when it was there fault in the first place for locking there business up like a bank after hours...
