A lot of plants and good selection. Good Pricing and girls were very helpful.

For Christmas 2015 I bought three poinsettias to give as gifts to three different friends, only to learn later that all three plants had died. When I reported this to the owner he loudly criticized me for not getting back to him in a more "timely" manner (it was the first week of January), as well as for not bringing back the dead plants, which of course I no longer had. He went on to tell me that in over thirty years in business, he had never had a complaint (really?). Also, that he supplies all the churches in the area for the holidays, and never has had to replace a dead plant. The irony was certainly not lost on me of his using his work with the churches as a way of justifying his incredibly unchristian response to me. Also it is truly amazing that someone can be in business for as long as he has and still not know how to properly treat customers.

Having done a good deal of shopping in the store previously, I would have been happy with an apology and a $15 credit. However, after the rude and arrogant treatment I received, I will never set foot in this business again, and you shouldn't either.

Better Business Bureau take note -- he is an embarrassment to the high caliber of merchants for which Guilford is known. Don't let this one bad apple spoil it for all the rest. Thank you.
