Overall the hotel is really nice looking , clean ,and the staff was really nice and helpful. I will stay there again.

Great for a short stay - two nights for us. Close to I-95 with restaurants, historic Guilford, and Hammonasset State Park a short drive. Breakfast choices good for a small facility. Yes, we would stay there again.

This was my second stay at the Comfort Inn in Guilford. We drove through Guilford late one night, looking for a place to stay. After several stops at different, fully booked places we ended up here and they had a room for the night. Clean, spacious and affordable! i'm doing a trip with my 14 yr. old daughter who happened to be even pickier where it comes to hotels then i am..... We were going from New York to Cape Cod, but didn't want to do it all in one go. Since i remembered good things about this place, we decided to stop by and see whether they had a room for the night. Fortunately they had 1 room left! Really big, 2 Kingsize beds, very clean and all that @ $99,- for the night! Not bad if you've just come out of Manhattan with it's rates..... We even decided to stop over here again on the way back!. All in all a great place, charming, with very, very friendly staff. Charming breakfast too.... Small breakfast bar in the lobby, but with a great waffle machine. My personal favourite! Recommendable too is the diner right across the road!

This hotel is hands down the best in Guilford. I stayed at the Comfort Inn, when I visited my parents, who live in Guilford. Since our house was going to be pretty crowded, I ended up at the Comfort Inn. As a Guilford native, I was surprised that there was even such a large and up-to-date hotel in town. To give some context: the Guilford Green is within (healthy - say, 10 min) walking distance of the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by my room - it looked like it had been renovated recently, and the bed and linens were quite...comfortable. Standout item were the pillows: I was tempted to take one or two home with me. Housekeeping staff were impeccable. My room came with a microwave and freezer, and Wi-Fi was gratis, all amenities you'd be hard-pressed to find at much higher-priced hotels. SUCH.GOOD.COFFEE. All in all, I very much enjoyed my stay here. A solid product the whole time, I felt genuinely welcome at the Comfort Inn.

My husband and I stayed here overnight because we had to attend a wake. I knew nothing about the area. Once we arrived at the hotel we were greeted at the front desk by a very friendly woman who checked us in. Upon arriving at our room, it was very clean and all linens and bedding were clean and fresh. Had an awesome nights sleep!!! Our room was on the first floor and the hotel was full, did not hear anything above us. Had an awesome continental breakfast the following morning which had more than enough to eat and drink. I would definitely stay here again!

Me and my kids loves this hotel. Nice and very clean. friendly staff and nice breakfast. very safe area . General manager is a very nice person . love to stay again and again.

This comfort inn was very clean and well attended to. I was very happy I stopped here and will make it my "regular" place when need be. Not far from I95 so it was very convenient. The staff seems to have a sense of pride and knows what customer satisfaction means.

Had a great weeks stay here. The staff were all very friendly. The rooms, halls, lobby were all super clean. Nice little breakfast to get our morning started. Have no complaints at all, very enjoyable stay.

Clean, comfortable, excellent service and lovely staff members. Close to the shore, historic sites and the beautiful Guilford Green. A great central location for branching out to sightsee without all the touristy craziness of other locations. Will be back.

This was our first time staying at a Comfort Inn. From check in to check out, it was a very pleasant experience. Knowing it was on a main road, we had requested a queen room on the second floor at the back of the building. At check in we found out they couldn't honor our room request. We were given a queen first floor room at the back of the building in the corner furthest from the lobby. It was absolutely perfect - quiet and very comfortable. We found the staff to be very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed a comfortable one-night stay. The hotel was clean and the front desk staff member was very friendly. The hotel had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The shower had no water pressure, but that was minor. Breakfast was decent. I would stay here again.

We had an out of town wedding in Madison, CT and we stayed at the Comfort Inn in Guilford which was within minutes of several of our destinations. The hotel was very clean. My husband thought the rooms were a tad on the small side but I didn't really think so. We were on the 2nd floor and they have an elevator. The people there were friendly and very helpful. The bathroom was modern and very clean. The pillows were excellent - wish I could have taken them home! It is a great hotel in a good area right along the main road - Boston Post Road. I would highly recommend a stay here. The breakfast area was kept clean and food refreshed. Basics of cereal, bagels, toast, scrambled eggs, sausage links, waffles and several breakfast type breads. There was coffee available at all times in the lobby.

The hotel itself was nice, clean, and comfortable.

I stopped in to this hotel about 3 years ago and was so happy with the area and accommadations I return every year.

I find it better and better every year, This owner really cares always improving this property, Give this a try when in the area ,also the First and Last Tavern right down the road [great food]
