Had my mom here staff was OK.. But your head nurse department sucks try to avoid you if they can the head administration is real good but don't if I would bring my mom back will think trying another facility if I had too.

After trying several of the larger nursing facilities in the area, we ended up placing my dad at Oak Grove. The facility was smaller and you could definitely tell the staff had more time to provide care. The building never smelled like the others and dad really enjoyed his stay. I will always be grateful for how much the staff helped him, and will sing their praises for forever!

This is not the newest nursing home in Southeast Texas, but it is the cleanest! Nursing homes with carpet never, ever seem to smell clean. At Oak Grove, though, it never smells bad in the hallways. As soon as I walk into the lobby, the place smells freshly cleaned. The nurses are amazingly attentive to their patients, answering call lights immediately and caring for each individual's needs uniquely. The administrative staff is very kind, not just hiding int heir offices, so it's always easy to find someone to talk to if I have a question. This is far and away THE BEST nursing home in Southeast Texas.

After trying several of the other nursing homes in the area, we ended up putting mom in Oak Grove Nuring Home. The nurses are amazing and truly care about her like she is a member of their family. Her spirits picked up and she loves here new home.
