Our family recently contacted Home Instead Senior Care in Grosse Pointe. Our mother was being discharged from the hospital and we realized that she would need help during her recovery. They were responsive to our needs immediately and they provided excellent, reliable care for our mother. We would certainly use them again.

Stay away from Home Instead of Grosse Pointe if you care about the senior in your life. They hire unqualified, inexperienced "caregivers" who are given little to no training. The employee they sent to my grandfather's house left many tasks unfinished. She refused to wash three pieces of silverware, saying that it was outside her job description, but she had plenty of time to talk on her cell phone and send text messages to her friends. These employees have no compassion or kindness, yet in her promotional material, the franchise owner, Marian, says they hire only employees "that will treat clients as if they were their own parents." Our family is searching for a senior care agency with an owner and caregivers who truly care. I cannot recommend this company.
