Overpriced and poor customer service. Have been taking our dry cleaning here for years, quite a bit of monthly business. They were going to charge me $1.79 per shirt to dry clean but the amount drops to .79 a shirt with 2 pieces of dry cleaning. Absurd considering I bring in at least 30 shirts a month and don't always bring additional dry cleaning. No accommodations were offered for our regular business. Will be doing business elsewhere

I had been going to Indian Village Cleaners for some time and had had a few minor incidents with clothing that I received back that was either missing buttons or creased or simply not cleaned adequately. And much to their credit, they fixed all of those issues. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for this most recent issue, and therefore, I will never give them my business again. I received my brand new Brooks Brothers shirt back with what appeared to be yellow burn marks or blotches all over the front of the shirt. I immediately took it back to the store and they attempted twice to get the spots out. The boy at the counter was nothing short of professional when dealing with my complaint. However, the same cannot be said for the owner. I believe his name is Mr. Shin and he's as insolent as he is clueless when it comes to matters of business. He offered me absolutely no options and refused to even hear my explanation as to what I think happened. He was brash, arrogant, and childish over the phone and insisted on telling me that his "decision had been made," like he was in charge of some dictatorship. He also kept telling me that he was going to hang up the phone every time I tried to reason with him. With business acumen like this, it's astounding that he's still in business. Indeed, I know exactly how long he has been in business because he kept telling me that he has been doing this for 23 years, implying that he couldn't possibly have made a mistake like this. I don't expect reimbursement for my shirt, as this would run counter to everything Mr. Shin believes about proper business etiquette, however, I would like to warn people that by frequenting this place, you will undoubtedly put the state of your clothing in peril, only to be disrespected by its proprietor. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Do not go here ever!

If I could give them zero stars I would. They damaged a very expensive pashmina and refused to pay for the damages. The owner stated that he asked his staff and they said they didn't do it so I must have. I don't usually cut squares out of my scarves and burn the fringe off.

Worst Customer Service EVER!!!!

We took in my wife's coat "expensive white with silver acents" to have a zipper replace "Silver" and that was all. We we got was a Gold zipper "like the one you find on a pair of jeans" and the coat drycleaned. We never asked for it to be cleaned. Now, we want to pick it up and take it somewhere else to be fixed properly and we are being told that our coat can not be picked up unless we pay for both these service "including the ugly gold zipper".

I will never go back to Indian Village Cleaners in grosse pointe!!!

We even agreed to pay for the cleaning just to pick it up and the answer was NO!

Do not use

Damage to items is pretty typical (ripped cuffs, lost buttons, somethimes ink on clothes). No recourse with them. They say "We don;t do that". Stay away; not worrth the $.79 for shirts!

Do Not Use!!!

This place is over priced and a joke. I had the repair a coat and they left the needle in my coat sharp side up and it stabed me arm. To top it off all i got was a "I am sorry" From the Owner. Plus they didn't even clean it that good and my pressed shirts still had some wrinkles.
