Lets start with the entertainment. ..Vanessa Rubin...was having major voice issues and should not have been singing.....the band members were last minute fillins. ..could not keep the beat.... Cover charge should have been refunded.... The meal..... Under cooked and cold. ...not sure what desert was...they said cream brulee. ..more like a dish of melted ice cream...
Our server ....basically had no idea....I will say the coffee was good...
They try and charge 4 star pricing. .... A quick run through a fast-food drive through would have been much better....
Save your money and time and go elsewhere. ...

LOVED IT!

I read about the restaurant in Hour Magazine (they won "restaurant of the year" last year). We went for the first time this past weekend it was INCREDIBLE! I'm kicking myself that we didn't go sooner. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

"Nothing but Clean Class for The Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe"

Having been a guest at "The Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe",even if for only an hour or so, I found the surroundings to be

quite welcoming as well as the gracious staff. I never had to concern myself with where my next beverage was coming from; This is to say that although it was a busy night, a server was always timely available to take my next drink order.

The Jazz group, and I wish I could remember their name, was superb, and quite obviously professional. Needless to say, their melodic notes, Hit the spot asfar as the patrons and myself were concerned. It seems as though Management is doing a good job in the Booking Dept.thus far. Overall my experience was an exceptional one, to say the least. I've only had the one though, experience, that is. I most certainly plan on visiting again, It's about time... a REAL Jazz Club in the Pointes. I'm quite certain that the local Townsfolk will appreciate the club. The only negative that I can think of mentioning, is that the Beverage prices in general are a wee-bit on the pricier side, but myself, and others should take into account the premier locale of this up and certainly coming Jazz Cafe. In closing, I really hope "The Dirty Dog" stands the test of time, It's a cool place.... and all this from a guy who spent only about an hour there.
