step back into a simpler time and visit the route 40 classic Diner. Friendly upbeat waitresses and food that your mom would have made. The 50's style music on the juke box adds to the terrific atmosphere. One of my favorite places to sit down , chill out, and have an awesome meal.

My husband and I had a wonderful breakfast at the Route 40 Classic Diner this morning, February 13, 2009. We live about 10 miles from it's location. I had a blueberry short stack, my husband had a cheese and mushroom 2 egg omelette with bacon, home fries, and wheat toast. My pancakes were the size of the dinner plate, delicious, couldn't eat it all, tasted like fresh blueberries. The service was great, very personable, quick. The atmosphere is 50's, 60's, jukebox that plays CDs. The prices were very reasonable. The location is easy to find. I highly recommend stopping by.
