I should have taken my Toro a competitor for an annual repair. Repair work not thoroughly completed. Had to repair mower mid season at another repair shop. Bummer! Will not return here for a repair. Management has an a negative disposition when talking to customers.

There are two sides to every story. This women has a little history of "attitude" here. When researched I found the mower she says has been serviced here every year has been here only once in the past 3, ( this year was not one of them) and she failed to mention that it was pointed out to her that the loose screw was stripped out because of an apparent accident the mower had in her garage, the proper repair would be all new shrouding ( very expensive) so we did put an over sized screw in to try and appease.

My father religiously bought from Terpstra so I patronized them. No longer. Older Toro needed service twice this summer. In the past they have left out scews. Put on three new tires ( I bought 4), Really sloppy service. The head of the repair shop talks condescendingly to females If challenged he gets ticked off. Acts as though you are disturbing him.Picked up mower today, and I caught a missing screw before I left. Maintenance man started lecturing me about how I did not maintain the mower. I told him that was not true ,I bring it in every spring to them and check the records. I bought a second snow plow from them earlier this year. When I need to replace this lawnmower, I will go to their competitor.

I have been doing business with terpstras for many years for both lawn and garden and my boating needs.they have always treated me well. I highly recomend them for sales, service, and parts as well.
