My experience at Dr. Stevenson's

I was blown away at my consultation. The staff was so exuberantly friendly and helpful. I feel as though I agreed to sign the contract at his office in part because I felt like they really cared about their patients, even though I was quoted much cheaper elsewhere. Everything from the presentation to the office seemed so polished, it gave me confidence.

Unfortunately, after signing away on the contract this golden treatment was discontinued immediately. On your second visit, they have you log straight in to the computer so you don't even have to speak to anyone. I had to reschedule my appointment once and the receptionist all but hung up on me. Everytime I come in, I feel as though I am ushered in and rushed through in an effort to engage in as little contact as possible. I feel like a walking dollar sign with bad teeth to them.

I would never reccommend this place to anyone based on my experience. I hope you do not get duped as I did by your future orthodontist. Braces are something you will be investing ALOT of money and time into, so make sure that you are investing properly.

Our sign in computer is in place as a convenience for our patients so that they don’t have to wait to be seated if the front desk is busy on the phone or with other patients. It was not our intent to make a patient feel as though no one wants to talk to them. Concerning the appointment that you had to reschedule, we have monthly and yearly training in each of our jobs including scheduling and customer service. We have recently retrained on how to schedule appointments including taking time and care with each patient. We apologize for your feeling rushed at your appointment as that is not how we want our patients to feel. We realize that with the number of patients we see each day, this may be the case once in a while. We are working on making each patient’s appointment one where the patient is our main focus regardless of the length of the appointment. Please take the time to check out our Google Reviews. You will find many patients who are genuinely happy with their experience in our office and continue to refer their friends and family to us.
