She specializes in small breed dogs and limits her client base to better serve every customer and provide every dog a comfortable and happy experience. Continuing education is crucial to her professional development. You will find her and her friends at grooming shows and training sessions year round to hone their skills. Her experience and certifications include 9+ years of grooming and her certification in Non-sporting with the NDGAA 2011. She began her career as a pet groomer at A Dog's Domain in Jacksonville, FL in 2007. During her time at A Dog's Domain, she was taught by Yvonne Aiken a National certified master groomer with the National Dog Groomers Association of America (NDGAA) and an A division competitive groomer. She learned a great deal not only about grooming but about the industry as a whole. During her time managing a salon at Petco, she perfected her organizational and customer service skills needed to run a salon. She worked a couple other grooming salons and has seen many ways that they are run. She worked for Piedmont Animal Hospital in Apopka, FL from April 2009 to January 2013. She was the only groomer there during that time. Yolonda started her own business "Grooming by Londa" in January 2013. Then in May, for personal and financial reasons she made the decision to move closer to her family in Greer, South Carolina. She built her own small grooming shop and works by appointment only. She really is enjoying the stress free environment of working alone with only one dog or a family of dogs at a time. She would be a great groomer for your family.
