EmailJim's Plumbing was founded on August 14, 1967 by Jim Ujazdowski. Jim was trained in the trade in Three Lakes, Wisconsin, and had seven years of plumbing experience before he started his own business in Appleton, Wisconsin. Jim basically worked alone the first two years in business, doing much of the same work that is accomplished today - commercial, multifamily and residential plumbing projects. Jim's Plumbing added apprentices and plumbers as the work load dictated. Jim's oldest son, Jeff, started working in the family business during and immediately after high school. The work shortage of the early 1980's prompted him to voluntarily pursue another avenue of employment that provided him solid business and interpersonal skills.
