READ BEFORE BECOMING A PATIENT
How can a psychiatric professional castigate a BRAND NEW patient for being 6 minutes late, and then continue to reiterate 3 additional times on the importance of being punctual in the first 4 minutes of converstaion? YOU ARE EMPLOYED TO HELP PEOPLE FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!!!
Between Mario E. Galvarino's miserable abortion of an office interview and his copious renderings of Jesus Christ littering his office I can't think of a worse place on planet earth to receive psychiatric advice.
If this is all you have to offer "upstate psychiatry" I think i can wing it.
I planned on helping your practice while I was there because you have 6 reviews and all are 2 stars or less. I run a reputation management portion of my online marketing business. However, I would not want your practice to infect even one more unfortunate soul. I will bank on any advice or assistance coming from such an impaired "treatment" center has potential to leave a patient more injured than when the first visited.
I truly am sorry that you will continue to operate. Trust that it is my mission to help any person that i can influence to find QUALIFIED help.
QUALIFICATION ONE set up an appointment process that allows for a new patient a window for finding the so called treatment center for the first time and filling entrance paperwork. Your problem is your process, not your patients. (actually your problem could be Mario E. Galvarino I WOULD NOT LET HIM ADMINISTER PSYCHIATRIC HELP ON A FEEDER MOUSE!!), there is no doubt this problem has existed for some time now because the nurses just rolled their eyes (as if to say oh Jesus, happens all the time) when I explained my foul, malicious treatment brief abuse session at upstate psychiatry.

I am quite certain that i will recieve no further contact from upstate psychiatry because the "Church Lady" (self proclaimed 'you know who you are') says that upstate psychiatry does not have an email. OH MY GOD!! ARE YOU SERIOUS!?
WAKE UP!

I think the world of Dr G. He cares about his pts and asks about them each visit. He has always been willing to listen as well.

Walked out of the room while I was in mid-sentence. In his office no more that three minutes. I was checking out . ( less than 5 minutes later) he was already done with another patient...imo , he wrongly diagnosed me as bipolar. Gave me random medicines that almost brought me to suicide.. I called pleading for help. It was Friday afternoon. He had no sympathy for my situation. Never going back to this guy. He needs to have his license taken away...

my daughter was a patient their and though I liked her doctor, I had an issue with them wanting my money more than they wanted to help. I was charged with 4 no shows. 1 was when I forgot 2 other times my daughter was in the hospital! she was fighting for her life after an od then she was in the hospital again for a mental breakdown! The hospital verified it then, when we were late, they charged me again! then the receptionist had the nerve to tell me that I needed to pay soon. I will find someone else that I can actually afford and actually cares.

I had been a patient for more than three years. One day, the doctor I'm seeing is apparently having a bad day & decides to take out his frustration on me. I will not post his comments, but coming from a doctor (I say doctor w/ hesitation) that is supposed to help me with my problems, I was completely stunned & outraged at his lack of concern, compassion, respect and good judgement. I was told no one else in the group would see me & escorted to the front. All of this after just changing all of my meds the prior visit. Now I am left w/ no doctor (good riddance), no referral, no medications and withdrawal effects that can kill you; that is if you believe what is wrote on the prescription label?!? Being in the healthcare field myself, this is called "patient abandonment" & healthcare providers should & will be held accountable. We all have bad days, but as a "professional" you should not take it out on your patients. Please, please, please read the other reviews & make a wise decision & take your business elsewhere; somewhere that you will get the care you deserve!!!

Only interested in Easy cases and your money. When it gets too hard to treat you, they drop you like a brick!

If I could choose negative stars I would. Had an appt with Dr.Galvarino. He had to leave early before my appt. I call to schedule an appt and they tell me Ive been referred out. Call to speak to someone and the front desk staff is beyond rude. This practice should be shut down forever. Guess they think bipolar people can just stop meds.

I have only seen one Dr. there. I believe he should have his medical degree taken away. He has christian pictures all over his office and claims to be a godly man. Let me tell you he is a wolf in sheep's clothing. His name is Mario Galvarino. He told me I wasn't worth anything. He started throwing out diagnosis that we had never even discussed before and said he would write any diagnosis or anything else in my chart. He is a very mean man and in my opinion needs to see one of his partners as a patient. They would probably commit him. I only wrote this so new patients would go in with their eyes already opened regarding this man. He needs professional help as well as spiritual. I know my Jesus would never tell me I wasn't worth anything. Dr. Galvarino, you sir are a very dangerous man to your profession!

The doctor my husband saw was insulting and degrading, from telling him that he was a lost cause, a poor chance of rehabilitation. But then saying that it would take intense theropy and we could'nt afford it. He said there was so much wrong with my husband for him just to accept it and shut up.



He is the rudiest and most unprofessional practioner I have ever encountered. I feel sorry for any other patients that he has because it's taking everything I got to reassure my husband that suicide is not a solution or a way to fix things, even though this doctor has convinced him otherwise.



I would do more research before entering this facility and consider another practice with better morals and doctors. Thanks Dr. Galvarino
