I was at this store yesterday. It is the first and will be the last time I go to Ross. They have two lines at checkout. One for returns and one for purchases. The cashiers (there were three) just said 'next'. The return line were closest to one particular cashier. ..so all the return people got served quickly before anyone in the regular sales line was served. The other two cashiers were also working on returns. I got the impression there was a lot of returns. At this point there were three more people lining up behind me. Still, cashiers were handling returns. The manager walked quickly by and mentioned to the closest cashier that sales are a priority over returns. She just said 'okay' and continued with her return. So, 10 minutes tick by and I am still first in the sales line. The 'fast' cashier that doesn't seem to know that sales in priority says 'next' again. Of course, the return line person races to her...but wait.....she is a new sale person, that was just in the return line.......OK, I JUST LEFT MY STUFF AND WALKED. I WON"T BE BACK> IT JUST ISN"T THAT GREAT OF A STORE OR THE DEAL EITHER.

Good Deals, Rude people

While the deals are good and the store is larger than some other Ross stores, the store was a mess. I stood in line for nearly 20 minutes. The cashier didn't call for back up until the line had reached half way past the dress section. I know for a fact that Ross' rule is to call for back up if there is 3 or more people in line (I work at the Anderson store). Being an employee of the company myself, I was surprised that my fellow employees were so unfriendly. It's a shame I can't make this complaint to the company.
