Barker Air & Hydraulics, Inc has been in business for over 56 years. john V.N. Barker formed the company in Charlotte, NC. in 1949. The business was created to supply the textile industry with products for counting and motion control. Soon after, it became evident that fluid power components were clearly the tools for tomorrow. Today our home office is located in Greenville, SC. The second generation of the family is included in the family-owned business. Three children, Drew Barker, Jeff Barker and Dona Sims are involved with the management of the company.Throughout the years we Barker Air & Hydraulics, Inc have maintained a strong working relationship with our many manufacturers enabling us the continuity to supply top quality components to our loyal customer base. Our extensive sales force is strategically located throughout the Carolinas. Each outside salesman is partnered with one of our inside salesman, located at the home office in Greenville, SC.
