Best place in Greeneville to eat highly recommend

This is a locally owned restaurant with predictable food of good quality but not upscale. You will get excellent service in a pleasant, intimate atmosphere. The menu is somewhat limited and does not change daily. Meats are well prepared. Soups are good. Salads are unpretentious but fresh and pleasant. Desserts are homemade and worth trying. It is not large and although alcohol is not served brown bagging is allowed. Take your own wine or spirits and settle into a cozy place. It's not your ordinary restaurant and if you go you will not be forgotten by the owner. Warning: The Whistle Stop May Be Addictive!
