This comment will be one of the funniest I've ever posted anywhere! I bought 3 lbs of German Potato Salad from Peters Foods & Deli to take to our son's Easter dinner on 4/20/14. . I found a large potato that turned completely BLACK in this batch. It grossed me out and spoiled our appetite so of course I returned it to the store for a refund. I was not so concerned about getting our $ returned but bringing it to the attention of the store as I was told that the salad is not made there. They need to tell who ever makes it to be more careful. So far it sounds simple huh? Well the man who may be the owner got nasty and accused us of putting this big black potato in there ourselves A full blown argument ensued and this man was shouting and came from around the corner to kick me out of the store - still accusing me of hampering with the potato salad. NO APOLOGIES - instead shouting and insulting me up and down. I did not go there to accuse but instead I was accused. Mistakes happen and a simple apology would have gone a long way. I was not angry going in but was irritated and shocked leaving. As if I would go through the trouble of finding a big BLACK potato and then lying that I found it in the salad???? Really? This man should not deal with the public as customer service brings people back. I will never step foot in this little store again and will warn everyone I know not to patronize PETERS FOODS & DELI --- not because we were given a bad batch of Potato Salad ( that happens) but because this man was the most ignorant and hostile - big mouthed rude store owner of all time. Being sold a bad batch of saladis not my problem with them - being accused of lying and being shouted

The owner (I presume) is the rudest merchant I can remember. I went in to get change for the attached laundromat and buy some lunch fixings. First, what kind of laundromat has no change machine? Then the owner interrogated me to make sure I would do my laundry there before he would give me quarters, despite the fact that I'd made a $13 purchase. He acted like he was doing me some huge favor making me come to get change and "answering my questions" (like pulling teeth!) about how the machines work. I will never go back, for groceries or laundry.

Great little neighborhood deli, awesome hit ham and rolls. Owner always present and all staff is sweet.

AWESOME PIZZA, best I've ever had!
