After working at Righetti Wynne for the past 13 years, Edward J. Wynne decided to open his own office. Wynne Law Firm will continue to represent plaintiffs in federal and state courts throughout the nation in cases involving violations of state and federal law such as unlawful employment practices, employment discrimination and unfair business practices. Superior Court ( 2004 ) 34 Cal.4th 319, a watershed opinion handed down by the California Supreme Court which affirmed the dual public policies in favor of enforcing California's minimum wage and overtime laws for the benefit of workers and encouraging the use of the class action device. Edward J. Wynne took the lead in getting the case certified at the trial court and continues to prosecute the case with other co-counsel as the case nears trial. Canfield & Assoc., Inc ( 2000 ) 78 Cal.App.4th 66, a multiparty age discrimination case where the trial court's JNOV was reversed after a favorable jury verdict.
