I recently cracked a tooth and ended up exposing the nerve underneath. Not having any type of insurance, I knew I just needed to get this molar pulled with a quickness! I found a coupon in either Mint or Money Magazine for a $30 exam and xray which was $50-$60 cheaper than every other place I called. Their prices for a tooth extraction were in the same price bracket as their competitor's, but Asbury Family Dentistry offered a 15-20% discount if you don't carry insurance. I spoke with two different people when I called and they were both so so nice! You know how most people will answer questions you have or whatever but they're usually kind of cold or just so "business minded" it's obvious they're waiting for five o'clock to roll around? Yeah, neither of the two I spoke with were like that. Side note: It's probably sounding like I work for this place (lol), but I swear they were just so awesome that I felt the very LEAST I could do is tell everyone how awesome they were.:-) Anyway, they scheduled me for the following day (another plus, they're open on Saturday). I'm not sure where Dr. Stone is from, but she definitely had that southern hospitality air about her. She makes ya feel like you're talking to your sister or another relative (the one that you like), for those who don't have a sister. Haha - She explained everything she was going to do, made sure I was always as comfortable as possible, answered all my questions, and was so very sympathetic to the pain I was in. Her assistant was awesome. I grabbed her hand a couple of times while getting those lovely tooth numbing shots....... Chapter 12: haha - All I'm sayin' is everyone in that office came across as just genuinely nice people. I will be recommending this place to my entire family.
