The twinkle-in-the-eye behind Rona K Corp’s trademarked The KIDS™ is my father, Stanley Cohen, and his love of family and, especially, children. We have owned a Jewelry Store in Manhattan since 1950. It was obvious that there was a void in the jewelry industry for beautiful gold charms to represent the most precious moment of a family’s life: the birth of their children. Rona K Corp. was up to the task and designed The KIDS™. It began as a single charm in 1990. Our customers’ families grew, which required us to create the ADD A KID program for their mother charms, pins or necklaces! The children that each KID represented loved to see their mothers wearing the charms so much, that the collection became popular for grandmother charms, too!
