Great Neck Union Free School District, with its office located in Great Neck, N.Y., operates under a superintendent and an elected school education board and administers more than 10 schools. The district comprises elementary, middle and high schools, and two adult centers. The schools offer classes from grades kindergarten through 12 and their total enrollment is more than 6,000 students. Its courses follow the requirements of the state education board and core subjects include English language arts, science, computer studies, social science and mathematics.
