I was initially very impressed with Rivers Edge Dental. The staff was friendly, the office beautiful and the doctor knowledgeable and gentle. They were a Delta provider and we proceeded to work out a treatment plan. In an attempt to best utilize our insurance, we scheduled out the appointments into the next year. Halfway through, we got a letter advising us that Dr Currie's office would no longer be a Delta Provider and although they would finish treatment, we would have to pay the difference between what Delta would pay and their prices. I thought perhaps a few hundred dollars but was slapped in the face with charges that would be more than double the original quote! I understand that they have every right to change course and do things differently with a new patient......but I do believe that they should finish out the treatment as agreed with existing patients. We cannot afford to complete treatment with Rivers Edge Dental and I really feel we have been wronged. I would not recommend this office to anyone unless money is truly no object!
