We took one of our guinea pigs in sadly it was his time ,but the staff and the care at Riverside was amazing. everyone was friendly and showed true compassion for my children. They explained why we had to put him down and made the decision easier on us. Also, a few days after the vet trip and the loss of our 6 yr. old guinea pig was still fresh in our minds. we received a card in the mail that the staff had all signed it really helped me and my kids. To know that they cared that much to take the time to do that. It touched our hearts :) recommend to friends and family they truly are great people there that understand that pets are family.

This clinic is very busy, but Dr. Guzman is very good at what he does. He helped us with our cocker spaniel Darla with an ACL tear. It has been three years ago and she is doing great. I can understand when your family member is in pain or very seriously injured, but do keep in mind that the doctors there do see a lot of patients, staff is very busy, but very friendly and helpful. I would go back again for any of her needs in the future and would recommend Riverside Vet Climic to anyone I meet. I'm very sorry for anyone who loses a pet. It would be nice to have Vet hospitals that were open 24 hours a day like human hospitals. But like human accidents, they are not planned.

The answering service isnt helpful. My 2 yr old lab needed emergent care, answering service said nowhere in grants pass is open, and that we must drive 20 miles ti get care, my lab died 15 mins later, come to find out an animal hospital was open, but it was to late. Front desk at the vet is rude and to busy to help you but back office staff is helpful and knowledgeable
