Based in Grants Pass, Ore., it serves nearly 24,000 customers in Josephine County and surrounding areas, including territories in Jackson County. Besides solid waste, the company manages medical, wood, commercial, industrial and yard debris waste. Southern Oregon Sanitation also has an e-cycle program for computer monitors and television screens. The facility is involved in the recycling of printed material, plastics, tin, aluminum, cardboard products and used motor oil.
