Holy Family School is a parish learning center that spreads over an area of more than 10 acres. It enrolls more than 200 students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school s academic curriculum consists of reading, math, science, English, social studies, art, physical education, phonics, computer applications and civics. It provides courses in band, family living, drug education, and vocal and instrumental music. Holy Family School also organizes various extracurricular events, such as science fairs, speech leagues, sports activities, Red Cross safety classes, and essay and poetry contests. The school s facilities include a television studio, computer lab, library, gymnasium, music room and cafeteria, as well as a learning center that provides preschool and before- and after-school care programs. It is located in Granite City, Ill., and is a part of Holy Family Catholic Church.
