We would thank you Mr Travisk ( screen name) for posting this, but the true are not as he stated . Yes we altered his fiance dress it is a formal dress ( take in with zipper on side , shorten straps ,and dry cleaning , we did not quoted how much because formal dress are complicated , we charge accordingly depend upon the level of difficulties, and type of alterations , type of fabric and so on , but the bottom line is we charge $ 20 to $25 dollars per hour for labor plus drycleanig per his fiance requested . Besides, when the dress was dropped of Travish was not there ,only his fiance and her mother . when they came to pick up he said we qouted him $25 ( he was not there when the dress was dropped off ) . then he demanded to pay $25.00 for alterations and $17.00 for drycleaning ( the charge was $70.00 then there was disagreement then a settlement for $ 50.00 ) Travish wanted to pay $ 42.00 only , later he was asked to leave the store because of his behavior . we did refunded $70.00 and agree to charge him $42.00 as he previous request per BBB advice . ( we did explain to BBB and sent a sample of the similar alterations and dry clean receipt ). Travish responded by asking a full refund of $70.00 and the dress for free . We agreed to charge him $42.00 as he wanted inially but never heard from him . Thouh , we excercise utter most care to take care of all customer , but cooperation require every parties to get involve it is obviously we are the one that willing to talk and compromise but somebody are not .
