POOR EXCUSE FOR MEXICAN!!!!! 11/06/204 Family Dinner. First thing: As soon as you walk in it smells, like dirty dishes or something old and crusty. Second thing: The wait staff was very experienced, sloppy actions (hair messy, unmatching untucked outfits ; women unattractive.), it seemed the girl we had had a comprehension problem (None of our food was served like requested). Food: LET DOWN; sloppy mess ( falling apart, in a bad way), little to NO favor, NO MEXICAN SPICE,( ordered a spicy dish and ask to make sure it was extra spicy; nothing chicken no favor, not mixed with salsa or peppers); my girls and wife ate half their meal and decided not to take the rest home, pitiful wast. We made a little gestures and complaints about it, we got an apology; a manager was running around making appearance to other tables like she was trying to do her job, but you could tell it was fake. She did wave at our table but never made it apparent to stop by and ask about of food.

The food wasn't even close to mediocre, and the service was sub par. I had one of their wet burritos, which is supposedly what they are known for, and it was terrible. It was barely hot, not very flavorful, and had a bone in it. The atmosphere is not great as there are TVs on the wall so you can't relax and enjoy the experience (we were upstairs, not downstairs, so we were hoping for a nicer ambiance) and the decor is badly in need of an update. I will definitely not be going back.

I used to work here, and the food was great. I continue to come now and then, mainly for the chips and salsa. Sometimes the food is not always up to par, but that has a lot to do with the person preparing it. I went there last month with my mom and we ordered a dip that had avacado, beans, black olives etc and it had about 3 inches too much of shredded lettuce on it, way too much lettuce. Over food is good, just be specific on how you want your food to come to you or it will just get slapped on the plate the way the cook feels necessary. NOTE: Does not smell like a toilet down there either, that guy had issues with his senses.
