Ben DeKruyter was very courteous and customer friendly. I had my Toyota in for a factory recall repair and they were great at fixing the problem. As for other repaires while the quality and work is excellent they are out of line on pricing. You have far too much overhead and your non productive service people all have to be paid as well that drives up the cost of repairs. I was told I needed my radiator replaces as it had leak and was told you could do this for a little over $1000. I declined and went to another certified repair shop and found out the exact same radiator replacement and flush could be done for just under $400 so had them do it for me. There is no way the cost of that repair should have been over $600 higher at Toyota of Grand Rapids. I just cannot afford to subsidize your excess overhead. Many other Toyota owners have expressed the same sentiments. Go back for recall items but elsware for the rest..

Bought a van from here in '07, very happy with the process, it was fast and my sales person was very kind and helpful. What i strongly dislike about this company is the Service Center. I was in an accident and brought it in for repairs and it took 5 weeks and they painted the parts they replaced with the wrong color!!!! VERY UNHAPPY. They don't even fix it there they send it away somewhere in Michigan. I also got an oil change from them and it literally took 4 and a half hours... RIDICULOUS!!!!!! If you're looking to buy a car go ahead that i was happy with. Just not the service center.

Nathan knew her stuff - she was able to answer all of my questions in a thorough, friendly, and professional manner. We got a fair price, which was honored by the dealer throughout the process. Even after payment and paperwork, the great service continued.

One word... Awesome! They told me a payment over the phone. Showed up and the payment was exactly as promised and they were able to get the whole things financed without money from me, this is the first time I buy a car and all I had to do was sign my name. I appreciate honest businesses and will bring my Camry in for service in the future.

Just went in on this past Pres...

Just went in on this past Presidents weekend not even thinking about sales, but just decided to go get a new 2012 Toyota Camry. We dealt with a guy named, Majic, real nice and did everything for us that we needed. Everyone was helpful and of course eager to sell a car but not in a pushy way.

Not sure what else to say, it was a good experience.

The guys at service dept ALWAYS help me out. Bill is the best. I get there, they take care of me pretty fast. Love the shuttle service too so I don't have to bother my co-workers. Ever since I bought my focus back in 2010, I keep going back to Preferred Ford. It's great to be able to count on them.

We recently selected Toyota of Grand Rapids for our new vehicle. Absolutely everything about our experience went well. We got what we wanted for our trade and they honored the advertised price we found. Tim assisted us with the trade. he handled all the details and we did not have to haggle for hours on end. Once we had picked out the right car he guided us through the rest of the paperwork and finance. No stress and a new car, that does not happen often.

My check engine light came on ...

My check engine light came on my camry last week and I took my car to Toyota of Grand Rapids. I was able to drop my car off right away and the car was ready the same day. I know nothing about cars, so I always get nervous that the mechanic is going to rip me off, but I felt very confident with this shop. They didn't treat me like an idiot or give me a creepy vibe. They just hooked the car up to the computer which gave them a code that meant it was likely just a fuel cap that needed to be replaced. So, they just charged me a small fee for replacing the fuel cap. They said if the light comes on again, then they'll do more tests, but that they didn't think that was necessary for now.
