Provided by YP.comThey have many new staff and new leadership. Their workers are really caring and spend a lot of time with the animals. They do not euthanize healthy adoptable pets. If you dont find your perfect pet please be patient, they get so many nice dogs and cats!

Provided by YP.comMy family and I went to this shelter yesterday because we noticed the high euthanasia rate. The staff was very friendly. we found the perfect dog to adopt, but as we were filling out the paperwork an older woman got in line just before us paperwork and all and adopted him. It was actually sad for us. We were loking for a small dog and thought he would be perfect for us. I would recommend going to this shelter. The euthanasia rate online says 80.01% at this shelter.

Provided by YP.comWow, sounds like this shelter needs new people to run it. I went there once a long time ago and it seemed so dark and gloomy. I will never forget the look on this one older dogs face. He was so sad. Animals deserve to get a new home after ending up in such a place. When people call or visit with the intention of adopting one of the homeless pets, that should be uplifting to everyone working there. They should do their best to connect forgotten pets with future owners, not do their best to discourage it. That makes me angry.

Provided by YP.comIf you want to be insulted and treated like crap, this is the place to go. There should be an investigation into the people who work there, and especially those in charge. VERY arrogant, and you get the impression you are inconveniencing them. Little or no interest in helping the animals find homes. Something is really wrong here.

Provided by YP.comI called today to ask if one of the dogs was still available for adoption. I live about an hour from the shelter and didn't want to make the trip with toddler to find the dog was already adopted. She was very short with me and insisted there was no way she could find out if "the dog" was still there. She didn't even ask what the dogs name was or anything. I would think with the economy causing the shelters to be over crowded that the staff would be more than willing to assist any potential family that WANTS an animal. Needless to say I will not be adopting from there facility. I feel very bad for the animals sent there :(
