Complaint to BBB: I called this company on wednesday June 26th, 2013. We were calling several companies for quotes to put gutters on our home and for the fastest service possible. The sale of our home is dependent upon a timely installation of gutters. Mr. Ken Bronkhorst gave a quote over the phone of $790 for gutters on our home. We gave him measurements we took ourselves - he asked what color our home was and we informed him it was Green/Red - he asked what color gutters we wanted and we asked what was normal. He stated white and didn't give us a color option. We were told that his sons did the work and they would be out sometime saturday June 29th. The morning of June 29th 3 gentlemen showed up with an obvious desire to NOT work that day. They immediately said that there was NO WAY they would put white gutters on our red and green home, that their father never should have told us to go with white and that he needed to learn to quote in PERSON and offer to come out and color match. Terry, the son, - told us that he was so upset with his father and that he was going to make an example out of this. That his father would be able to resell the white that was already purchased and that they would put up the correct matching color on monday July 1st and that there would be no additional charge because this was to be a lesson to his father. Terry, Kens son gave me his cell phone number and told me to deal with him directly. Ken called me that saturday and left a message and after talking with Terry he said to call his father, Ken, back. Ken was upset that we changed the color, I informed him his son told us to and he said it would cost him more to run and get the special color. It was to be $10-20 difference so I didn't want to make a big deal about that. Monday July 1st Terry and two different workers showed up at our home in the late morning. They did NOT inform us they were here and I realized they were when they put a ladder up next to my bedroom window. I then went outdoors and greeted them. We talked about the home and he explained that the gutters on the bay window would require a downspout in front of the window but that he would get it all done in a couple hours. I had to take my daughter to the doctor and believed they would be done before I got back. I offered to pay before I left because everything seemed to be going smoothly. I wrote a check for $800 to Bronkhorst Seamless Gutters. I returned home after the appointment and they were still working on the house. Terry complained that he had been working way too much, had 3 heart attacks recently at age 45, a defibrillator in his chest, $110,000 in medical bills piled up and another surgery at the end of this month. He then said that he just had to finish the bay window and would be done. I noticed a little while later that Terry and the workers were gone. I went to look at my gutters and found that they did not finish the gutters over the bay window. I called Terry on his cell phone and he informed me that he didn't feel good, his workers were hot and thirsty and that they had to go. He then said it was impossible to do the gutters over the bay window and that he would have his father, Ken, bring me a refund the next day for the unfinished gutters. Terry stated the refund would be around $40 to $50. They also did not leave me a copy of the invoice/bill but still had my check. On July 2nd my husband called and spoke to Ken about the refund and getting the invoice. Ken informed my husband that his sons should have left the invoice and he claimed that his son did not offer a refund and that he would not pay a refund. He stated that regardless of his sons recommendation we should have taken the white gutters and that it cost him more money in gas and purchasing materials he couldn't return so he would not return any money. He said that he would however drop a copy of the invoice off at our home.

Awesome Company

They were great to deal with and they are by far the best priced!! When everyone else was weeks out they were also very busy but they still squeezed me in. I would recommend them for sure!
