During a recent road trip in my 89 westfalia a growling noise started that kept getting louder the more I drove. After calling all of the repair shops in the Moab area, Foreign Aid in Grand Junction was willing to help me out and work on my vehicle with short notice since I was travelling. I brought my van over early in the morning and they had me back on the road by the end of the day! Steve Stewart and his team were super friendly and really know their stuff. They correctly diagnosed the problem as a left rear wheel bearing even though it sounded like it was on the right side. Since they do lots of work of VW vans I was able to continue my vacation with confidence, knowing the work was done properly. Fantastic service!

Happy Travelers

We travel to the Southwest every spring to escape the harsh cold winters of Wisconsin. Last year we had exhaust issues with our VW, and we're serviced by Foreign Aide. And again this year while in Grand Junction we had coolant issues, and went back to Foreign Aide. Our mechanic back home, who's a close friend, said Foreign Aide didn't overcharge us and did a good job on the car. We're very happy with the service and will continue to go back to Foreign Aide if car issues occur on our future trips.

Check engine light

My check engine light came on one afternoon while I was working I called the the Foreign Aid to set up an appointment Steve Stewart told me to bring the car by now I can't guarantee that I can fix it today but I can tell you if it's safe to drive with the (check engine light on) after checking the computer it was determined a error code was found he reset the on board computer and I was on my way a dealer would have made me wait for possible days to check.THANKS FOREIGN AID

Very unhappy customer

I took my vehicle there because I had repeated problem with my battery draining over night. The mechanic told me he that it was probably the dome light being left on and charged me over $100 dollars to get my car back from them. So I have been fighting with them and got the better business bureau involved. Its hard to believe that people are out there with the sole intention of ripping you off. My car still has the problem with the battery draining and I am taking it to a different shop.
