Provided by YP.comThe main reason I am writing a poor review of this business is their ethics and community conduct. In the summer of 2013 a friend of mine approached the Alidas booth at the Grand Junction farmers market to invite any migrant workers who might benefit from the migrant head start program. The man at the booth (presumed to be the owner), said "So you're who we waste our tax dollars on", then as she was walking away yelled "Why don't you get a real job".
Now I doubt the same reaction would be had if it were for a regular head start program. So the conclusion I draw is that the man was a bigot. Now, each person is entitled to their opinions and whatever hatred their heart may hold, but as a member of the business community we expect respectful conduct and friendly smiling faces. When we encounter angry mean people, we well... write reviews.
Oh yeah, the Alidas Jam that I have bought in the past has sat in my cupboard until the sugar crystallized and I threw it all away. Must not have been that good. But they are good at selling it when they smear it over a cream cheese cracker... I suspect any jam is good this way.
